WHAT SHOULD SCHOOL TEACH?
Currently the educational programme is outdated and no longer covers basic needs. With traditional teaching methods young people are not prepared for adulthood. They do not know how to write a CV, find a job, or market themselves effectively. That is why we should start thinking about a change. Observing the contemporary world I realised that soft skills are essential for finding employment and getting involved in society. Schools should focus on teamwork, preparation of presentations, writing texts, and methods to captivate people's attention. I can confidently say that these lessons will be useful for everyone, to be a good parent, a partner, a boss or an employee. But being an expert in your field and being capable of convincing people and explaining yourself is not enough to achieve a stable adult life.
