SENTENCES WITH GERUNDS

 Hello guys!

Today I´ve been writting sentences with gerunds, and learning with which preposition the words must be followed, here I will show you some sentences that I wrote.

1)    

1)      I´m doubtful about getting good marks in my exams, because I didn´t get the same results as my classmates.

I´m doubtful about drinking that beverage, I don´t trust him.

 

2)      John´s mother is very proud of his success in that competition.

 

I´m very proud of persisting despite the circustances that aroe.

 

3)      This vacine has been very succesful in curing children, despite the bad results in the elderdy.

 

Your brownies had been very succesful at betty´s party, there was anything o nothing left.

 

4)      The dog was in trouble for destroying the neightbord´s newspaper, as consecuense He couldn´t eat his favourites treats for one week.

 

Mark is in trouble for stealing a huge amount of money from his boss and now He Will probably end up on jail.

 

5)      You should belive in cooking healthier, you wouldn´t imagine how much your health could improve.

I belive in working hard to get my objectives/achieve my goals , instead of looking for the easiest way.

 

6)      People have always said that I am good at rowing but I´ve never enjoyed it as much as tennis.

 

He is Good at lying, you should be careful and not belive all the things/ everything he says.

 

7)      I´m looking foward to meeting my friend Lily, I haven´t seen her since 2015.

My mom is looking foward to getting a ticket for Luis Miguel´s concert.
