Will Artificial Intelligence Make Our Lives Better?"

Artificial intelligence is a tool that is constantly and quickly developing. It becomes more precise over time and can be used in a wide variety of fields. It seems that AI is here to stay and will continue to improve. But how will it affect our lives and the environment?



First of all, as we have already seen, AI can assist in different disciplines. It can explain all kinds of topics and even help with studies by preparing summaries, asking questions, or creating interesting activities. You just need to be creative and use your imagination!

In addition, artificial intelligence can be applied in medicine, biological research, or in optimizing tasks that usually take a lot of time.

On the other hand, this invention requires a large amount of energy and uses huge quantities of water to cool the machines, which can have a big impact on the environment. Hopefully, developers will find solutions that are more environmentally friendly.


To sum up, AI is a powerful invention that will be used in all kinds of jobs, but unfortunately, it also has consequences that we need to address.

In modern times, the educational system has changed. The variety of careers at university has increased, and furthermore, students are able to study remotely because of the development of technology. But is this new way of teaching efficient? Online classes have allowed people to study careers that are not available in the place where they live. Sometimes, because of economic issues, they cannot choose the career of their dreams, but long-distance classes have opened a new door full of possibilities and opportunities. One negative aspect is that, since you don’t meet your classmates in person, making friends and getting to know each other is more challenging. It isn’t impossible, but it will be harder to meet face-to-face. In online classes, you might have classmates from all over the world. On the other hand, in face-to-face classes, you are constantly talking to and meeting new people, so it is easier to create bonds. “To what extent does the language we speak shape our perception of the world?

 Having watched a TED talk trying to answer the question "Does language shape our perception of the world?" made me analyse how our brain works and observe that little details make a huge difference. First of all, I must insure that the language is involved with our thought, and, you may be asking, why can I be so assured about it? Here I will give two examples to argument this posture. One explenation is the comparation with an austrialian community called Kook Thaayorre. The society is characterized by a different culture, that is why they have their own language which for example, instead of using the words right and left to get oriented, they aply another vocabulary that it is based on the use of cardanial directions. This way provide a better orientation and have the ability of get located oneself in a space.
