ONLINE CLASSES VS FACE TO FACE CLASSES

In modern times, the educational system has changed. The variety of careers at university has increased, and furthermore, students are able to study remotely because of the development of technology. But is this new way of teaching efficient?

Online classes have allowed people to study careers that are not available in the place where they live. Sometimes, because of economic issues, they cannot choose the career of their dreams, but long-distance classes have opened a new door full of possibilities and opportunities.

One negative aspect is that, since you don’t meet your classmates in person, making friends and getting to know each other is more challenging. It isn’t impossible, but it will be harder to meet face-to-face. In online classes, you might have classmates from all over the world. On the other hand, in face-to-face classes, you are constantly talking to and meeting new people, so it is easier to create bonds. However, you probably won’t have classmates from other countries.

The drawback of face-to-face classes is the loss of time. Sometimes, students spend two or three hours commuting to university. Moreover, some classes aren’t useful, and you end up studying on your own.

As we can see, these two ways of learning present both benefits and disadvantages, so we must take a balanced approach.
